I’m Kristoffer Klem Bergersen. On this site, when I remember posting something, you’ll find pictures from Belgrade in Serbia, where I currently live. Or pictures from back home, Narvik in Norway.
All my pictures are taken with an Epson Digital Rangefinder, mostly using a Carl Zeiss c sonnar. When I get my zeiss biogon fixed, you just might find one or another picture made with that one too. I did have a pretty expensive Nikon dSlr and bags filled to the rim with even more expensive glass. But at some point or another the whole thing just bored the living daylight out of me, so I sold it all and now I live by the rangefinder way. I’ve never look back since I went for the whole one body, one lens thing.
I also swear by the philosophy of www.strobist.com , even though my use of a Nikon Speedlight sb-28dx triggered wirelessly by some crap chinese radiotrigger, was discovered by chance a couple of years before I heard about the guys at strobist.
Adobe Photoshop is actually installed on my comp, at least I think so, but I haven’t used it in half a years time. And even if I do use it, it’s only to edit the size of my pictures. It’s not a philosophy I swear by, I just know too many people who know their way around photoshop too well – all of the pictures on my site are essentially straight out of camera files. Oh, and it just takes way too much time – I much more love running around with my camera in my hands.
Please feel free to leave a comment, it would quite make my day!
And do please note the way most of my posts are titled with some line from the song running around in my head at the time I took the picture/s. Picture courtesy by Marija Pete.
